Middle School Executive Functioning
Class
Learn all the tips, tricks, and strategies to be successful in high school, college, and life. Having a plan to walk through each step is helpful in building lifelong habits that will benefit learning. We will use a materials handed out in class and class time to learn and share vital skills. There will be no homework or grades, but you will want to practice what you are learning throughout the week in your other classes.

Welcome to Executive Functioning in the middle grades! This class is a relaxed yet comprehensive view of skills needed to organize, prepare, plan, think flexibly, manage time, self advocate, and initiate tasks. These skills are vital to everyday living and help with so many aspects of academics. We will also spend time working on improving processing speed.
A binder, tab dividers, and weekly handouts will be provided. Bring notebook paper and pencil or pen to class. No grades will be given. This course teaches you how to improve your habits & choices. No text needed.
